Uploading Images

Desktop

  1. Open the tool you want to use.
  2. Drag an image from your file manager onto the drop zone, or click the drop zone to open your file picker.
  3. The image loads immediately.

Android

  1. Open the tool in Chrome.
  2. Tap the drop zone.
  3. Choose "Files" or "Photos" from the Android picker.
  4. Select your image.

iPhone / iPad

  1. Open the tool in Safari.
  2. Tap the drop zone.
  3. Choose "Photo Library" or "Browse" from the iOS picker.
  4. Select your image.

File size limits

  • Background remover — 10 MB maximum
  • Browser tools — 25 MB maximum, but large images may exceed device memory

If your image is too large, try the image resizer or image compressor first.

Common upload issues

"Unsupported format"

Make sure the file is JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, or BMP. Renaming a file does not change its format — some `.png` files are actually `.jpg` files with the wrong extension.

"File is too large"

Resize or compress the file first, then try again.

Upload button does nothing

Check that JavaScript is enabled in your browser. BG Remove requires JavaScript for all tools.

Image loads but tools don't respond

Try refreshing the page. If the problem persists, check that your browser is up to date (Chrome 90+, Safari 14+, Firefox 88+).
