Marketing Image Editing

Marketers use BG Remove to create cutouts, banners, and ad creative in minutes. Everything is free, browser-based, and doesn't require a design team or Photoshop license.

Why marketing teams use BG Remove

  • Speed. A cutout that took 30 minutes in Photoshop takes 10 seconds with AI.
  • Volume. Produce variations quickly — one hero image becomes 20 banners.
  • Consistency. Same clean cutout across platforms and campaigns.
  • No subscription. No Photoshop or Canva Pro fees.
  • Team-friendly. No software installation — anyone with a browser can use it.

Common marketing workflows

Ad creative cutouts

  1. Shoot or source a high-quality photo of the subject (product, person, mascot).
  2. Remove the background with the AI background remover.
  3. Download the transparent PNG.
  4. Drop it into your design tool (Figma, Canva, Photoshop) and compose the ad.

Social media graphics

  1. Remove the background from your hero subject.
  2. Use the image resizer to match platform dimensions (1080×1080 for Instagram, 1080×1920 for Stories).
  3. Layer text and brand elements on top in your design tool.

Product comparison graphics

  1. Remove backgrounds from every product in the comparison.
  2. Use the product photo editor to standardize each cutout to the same size and padding.
  3. Arrange side by side in your design tool.

Email newsletter images

  1. Remove backgrounds from hero images.
  2. Resize to fit newsletter width (typically 600 px).
  3. Compress with the image compressor to keep email size under 200 KB.

Recommended dimensions by channel

  • Instagram post: 1080×1080 (square) or 1080×1350 (portrait)
  • Instagram Story: 1080×1920
  • Facebook feed: 1200×630
  • Facebook ad: 1200×628
  • LinkedIn post: 1200×627
  • LinkedIn banner: 1584×396
  • Twitter/X post: 1200×675
  • Twitter/X header: 1500×500
  • YouTube thumbnail: 1280×720
  • YouTube banner: 2560×1440 (safe area 1546×423)

Compression for performance

Large images slow down pages, inflate email size, and increase ad-serving costs. Always compress:

  • Use WEBP for web images (25–35% smaller than JPG at the same quality)
  • Set quality to 80–85 — visually identical to 100 at 40% of the size
  • Resize before compressing (don't upload a 4000 px image and expect it to be small)

Frequently asked questions

Can I use BG Remove outputs in paid ads?

Yes. You own the input and output images. Use them for personal and commercial purposes. See our Terms of Service.

Is this faster than my design team's Photoshop workflow?

For simple cutouts and standard dimensions, yes — 10× faster or more. For complex designs, your design team will still be faster overall, but they can use BG Remove to skip the slow manual cutout step.

Does it work on brand assets (logos, mascots)?

Logos and mascots are best handled with the transparent PNG maker (if they're on a solid background) or by manual selection in a design tool. AI does well with photographic subjects.

Can I integrate this into my marketing automation?

Yes, via our API. See API documentation. Contact partners@bgremove.site for access.
