If your image already has a solid, uniform background (like a white studio backdrop or a green screen), the transparent PNG maker can sometimes work faster because it processes locally and never uploads a byte.

Browser-based tools support images up to your device's available memory, typically 25 MB or more on modern phones and computers. The AI background remover is limited to 10 MB per upload.
Do the tools work offline?
After the first page load, most browser-based tools will continue to work even without internet, because all processing happens locally. The AI background remover requires an active connection.
Can I use the results commercially?

What is the maximum image resolution supported?
Browser tools are limited by available device memory. On a typical Android phone you can process images up to about 8 megapixels comfortably. On desktop, up to 40 megapixels. The background remover supports up to 10 MB uploads, which generally covers 4000×4000 pixels.
Why does the background remover require internet?
